I came across a lovely book of poetry at the weekend called Bits of Verse for Christmastide from 1917 by Tillie C. Jeroleman.
It's got a lot of Christmas poems that, for a change, I don't fall asleep in before I get to the end of the verse...
Don't get me wrong, I've come to love a good piece of poetry and have sobbed through many a poem I've read lately but as I have a low boredom threshold, it certainly takes a good one to keep me reading to the end!
Here's one for starters - I'll publish a few more from the same book over the coming days.
