When I last blogged I mentioned that sometimes I come across artists whose pictures blow my socks off and Virginia Sterrett is another of these.
Virginia was an American artist born in 1900 who died of TB just 31 years later.
Because of failing health she illustrated just a few books, Arabian Nights perhaps being the most famous.

So much talent, such a short life. Hope I can leave such a lasting memory when I go!
