Not Christmas this time but babies.... I'm just waiting to hear the news that a cousin who's in labour has given birth after being induced. About an hour ago her contractions had only just started so it might be a while yet...
I had a look round for some vintage pictures of babies to celebrate the occasion and came up with these. These one's are by William L. Taylor (American, 1854-1926) from a book called Baby's Lullaby Book: Mother's Songs:-
There are loads of great pictures in this book.
And if you're not into babies, this one's from a 1917 book called baby animals:-
