Year end

Well, it's 31st December and 2010 is drawing to a close. Thank God. 2010 has been a horrible year for so many reasons and I wouldn't want to repeat it.

I guess I have learnt a lot this year about life, death, work, finances and friends but not much of what I have learnt has enriched me in any way, sadly.

I live in hope that 2011 will be a better year for all of us.

December has got away from me a little as it normally does, so much to do and so little time to do it. There's been little time for delving through books and old images this month and I've missed it although I've managed to put together the Glorious Art Deco sets on Printable Heaven - sets I've had on the go a while but that needed the final touches before putting them live.

Love the Art Deco style - the glamour and extravagance of it all - but then I've grown to love so much vintage style over the last year. I'd much rather own something old now than something new and mass produced.

This picture is from a 1920s/1930 ad and features lovely Art Deco styling.

I've many plans for 2011 for new sets for Printable Heaven - vintage sports, pets, wild animals, elegant ladies, vintage fashions and several that aren't vintage at all. The next one will be a baby set, not vintage and very cute!

And I did learn something good this year, by the way. Your male friends look at you in a different way when you put little battery nightlights down your bra! Those pictures have not (and hopefully will not) appear on Facebook!

Happy New Year. Hope 2011 brings you everything you need.
